With more than 50% of users engaging Menlo's website from a mobile device, a mobile experience was critical for this multi-campus church in the heart of Silicon Valley.
Our team was tasked with redefining a digital strategy that focused primarily on community engagement, newcomer connection, and multi-campus management through a clean, modern user experience.
Design and development efforts have empowered Menlo's team to centrally manage the promotion and content of ministry, volunteer, and community opportunities.
SPOTLIGHT
Making a big church feel small begins with the people. That's why we built a powerful tool that helps users find the right opportunities to connect with regardless of which campus community they call home.
SPOTLIGHT
Our notification system pushing timely information sitewide has proven to be an effective communication tool for Menlo's team. The team can specify which campus website they want to communicate with, and even force a pop-up to ensure users will see the notification.
SPOTLIGHT
The Menlo events calendar is a modern way to promote events for either a user's campus, or all campuses. We built a calendar system that allows users to turn on calendars they are interested in. The user's preferences are saved ensuring relevant events stay top-of-mind.
SPOTLIGHT
A critical part of Menlo's web strategy was to ensure users would get campus content that was relevant to them. The campus picker was an important tool for users to get campus-specific content. Through some dev magic the site remembers user's campus preferences for future visits!
SPOTLIGHT
Series messages is typically in the top 5 most popular pages. We built a comprehensive filter and search system around messages, series, stories, and shorts. User's can download message resources and share any series via social media.
SPOTLIGHT
Mobiling the hands and feet of the church is no easy task. With so many opportunities to volunteer both locally and across the world, we developed a strategy for bringing the right opportunities in front of users. With our serve tool, ministries don't need to worry that their opportunities won't get the same exposure as "big church" opportunities, while the communication team maintains control on what to feature and prioritize.
